Flip, a New York–based startup building voice AI for customer service, has raised $20 million in Series A funding to accelerate its growth. The company develops AI agents that handle routine customer calls, offering businesses a voice experience similar to Alexa—but built specifically for enterprise needs.
Founded by Brian Schiff and Sam Krut, Flip takes a vertical-first approach, focusing on transportation, retail, and healthcare. Instead of generic, one-size-fits-all platforms, Flip delivers industry-ready solutions designed to work out of the box. Its AI has already handled hundreds of millions of phone calls, giving it real-world experience at scale.
The funding round was co-led by Next Coast Ventures and Ridge Ventures, bringing Flip’s total funding to $31 million. Today, the company serves major brands, has reached eight-figure annual recurring revenue, and continues to grow rapidly as more enterprises adopt AI-powered voice support.
